All the itineraries were created thanks to the invaluable co-design with the community of Asciano.
The routes “Asciano in Color” and “Fantastic Creatures” were developed in collaboration with the second-year classes of the middle school “Luigi Magi,” part of the Sandro Pertini Institute in Asciano, and Eccom.
Eccom is an organization active since 1995 that promotes a transdisciplinary approach to culture, bringing together diverse skills to tackle the challenges of the cultural and creative sectors. It sees culture as a driver of social change and designs experiences for innovation, inclusion, and heritage enhancement through research, training, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Eccom also contributed to the videos “Landscape Figures,” created by the theatre company I Nontantoprecisi.
I Nontantoprecisi are more than just a theatre group: they are a story of encounter, transformation, and creativity. Born from a shared experience at the “La Voce della Luna” Day Center in Rome, in 2012 they chose to step outside the psychiatric care system and founded a company together with the Passepartout Cooperative. Since then, they have pursued a living theatre of exploration and experimentation, where space, time, and the body become tools for reimagining oneself and the world.
The illustrations came to life through the co-design work of illustrator Valenzia Lafratta and the school.
A project that embraces and includes—because welcoming and inclusive is exactly what the territory of Asciano, at the heart of the Crete Senesi, aspires to be.
