This unguentarium, an Etrusco-Corinthian ceramic aryballos, originates from Tomb A of the Poggione Necropolis in Castelnuovo Berardenga and dates to the late 7th - early 6th century BCE. Characterized by a pear-shaped body, this small vessel was used to hold perfumed oils for personal care and ritual practices. It is now preserved at the Museo Palazzo Corboli in Asciano, offering a valuable example of the ceramic production of the time and the taste for refined and functional objects.
